How to use Arial font in Latex

If you want to use font Arial in your tex document, just add these two lines in the beginning of the document.

<code>
\renewcommand{\rmdefault}{phv} % Arial
\renewcommand{\sfdefault}{phv} % Arial
</code>

If not works, please install eitl.sh script available here

http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/support/texlive/eitl

and your code can be written thus
<code>
\documentclass[12pt,a4paper,titlepage]{article}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[spanish]{babel}
\usepackage{amsmath}
\usepackage{amsfonts}
\usepackage{amssymb}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\usepackage{lmodern}
\renewcommand{\rmdefault}{phv} % Arial
\renewcommand{\sfdefault}{phv} % Arial
\usepackage[left=2.5cm,right=2.5cm,top=2.5cm,bottom=2.5cm]{geometry}
\author{Adam Sanchez}
\title{Tesis de Maestría}
